SHIPPING

At Danica Erard Millinery, we want your order to arrive safely and on time. Please find our shipping details below.  

Shipping Costs

  • Within Australia: $25.50 AUD per hat
  • International: $50.00 AUD per hat (tracking included)

    Please note: shipping is charged per hat. If you are purchasing multiple items, each will incur a separate shipping charge.

Processing & Dispatch

  • Stocked items are dispatched within 48 hours of payment.
  • Headpieces and custom designs are processed within 3 working days of receiving your order.
  • Orders are shipped via Australia Post prior to 4pm AEST on weekdays only. 

Delivery Times 

  • Australian orders are shipped via Express Post. Most metropolitan deliveries arrive within 3 business days.
  • Please allow additional time for rural or interstate addresses.
  • International delivery times vary depending on location. A tracking number will be provided.

Signatures

All deliveries require a signature on arrival. Please ensure your nominated address is attended between 9am–5pm. We recommend using a business address where possible. 

Order Changes 

Once your order has been placed, we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations. If you notice an error in your delivery details, please contact us immediately

danica.millinery@gmail.com and we will do our best to assist. Please note we cannot take responsibility for incorrect addresses entered at checkout.

  • All orders are subject to availability. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you to offer an alternative or a refund.
  • Any delivery dates provided are estimates only. Danica Erard Millinery is not liable for delays once your parcel has been lodged with Australia Post.

RETURNS

At Danica Erard Millinery, we want you to love your purchase. Every piece is handcrafted with care, and we stand by the quality of our designs. Please take a moment to read our returns policy before placing your order.

Custom & Bespoke Orders

  • For custom, made-to-measure or bespoke pieces, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges unless the item is deemed faulty upon receipt.
  • Please choose carefully and contact us prior to ordering if you need guidance on sizing, style, or design.

Faulty Items

  • If your item arrives and you believe it to be faulty, please email us at danica.millinery@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery.
  • Items damaged through misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear are not considered faulty.
  • We reserve the right to inspect all items before determining if a repair, replacement, or credit note will be issued.

How to Return

    1. Contact us via email within 7 days of receiving your order to request a return.
    2. Ensure all packaging, swing tags, and labels are included with the return.
    3. Return items must be sent via registered post (with tracking) to confirm delivery.
    4. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Repairs & Credits

Where applicable, Danica Erard Millinery will offer: 

  • A repair to the original item, or
  • A replacement of the same item (if available), or
  • A credit note to be used towards future purchases.

Please note: Due to the delicate and individual nature of millinery, refunds are not generally offered unless legally required

Can I return my hat if I change my mind?

Due to the delicate and bespoke nature of millinery, we are unable to offer returns or
exchanges for change of mind. Please choose carefully when placing your order.

What if my order is custom or made-to-measure?

Custom, made-to-measure and bespoke designs cannot be refunded or exchanged unless they are deemed faulty upon receipt.

What happens if my item is faulty?

If you believe your piece is faulty, please contact us at danica.millinery@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery. We will inspect the item and, if appropriate, arrange a repair, replacement, or credit note.

Are damages covered?

Items damaged through misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear are not considered faulty.
